Yesterday...

...my daughter took me out for a dinner. She got a great deal from Groupon.com for a DOMO 77 restaurant so after work we headed to Aurora to eat food for $40 while spending only a little more over $20 ( tax + tip included)
It happened that we were seated with a multi-cultural family ( mam, dad, son (6), daughter (12) + grandpa). For those who don't know anything about DOMO 77 here is a link to find what is it all about.
We had a Latino chef with a tall white hat that entertained us with some funny tricks while cooking the food before us. And a Bulgarian girl from Sliven for a waiter that melted my heart with her soft and sweet under-balkan's accent.
Kalina had a nice chat with the father about the advantages of the deals you can find on Groupon website.
And at the end of the dinner we had a chance to listen to the Birthday song sang in Japanese from our waiter and few more....and to clap hands all together in mam's honor. Great time! :)

For desert we stopped in Portillo's for a cake shake and few pictures but the talks didn't go well so we skipped the movie for $4 (The Adventures of Tintin) that we were thinking to see and headed straight home and straight to bed. After all was a good Friday night! Thank you Kalina!

....and Today...
I woke up early and still under yesterday's impressions from the restaurant I cooked lunch first and
then made a breakfast for my grown up babe. Something I have not done for a while and enjoyed it much. We had some really nice and dynamic talk over breakfast about the Bible, Jesus and Kurt Vonnegut's thoughts on them in his book Slaughterhouse - Five and also about the end of the world in 2012 according to the Mayan's calendar and also wondered if that could be the reason for the rapidly increased sales of Bibles vs. fiction books last year.:)

...after all this "to believe or not to believe and would you believe" conversation continued while I left my head in the her hands to renew the color of my hair. She did it very good!
Then she pampered me with a beautiful curls and make up, did really quick the same to herself and after all we run into the dark local movie theater salon to watch the Descendants.

Well, the movie was straight shot in the heart!:)

Because of the so many things we did we totally forgot about our lunch and after the movie we found our selves very hungry so we rushed back home. Below is the recipe for the Jamaican chicken with pumpkin i cooked in the morning:

• two heads of onion ( coarsely chopped )
• one boneless chicken breast cut on big pieces
• one pack of mushrooms ( coarsely chopped)
• 1/3 pack of Jamaica Cock Soup Mix with Pumpkin
• salt and pepper
  

Stir fry the onions, the chicken pieces and the mushroom with salt, pepper and butter in a wok for about 10-15 min. ( until almost done). Add the 1/3 of the pack of the Jamaican mix with about on cup of water and cook it until the water is gone. Done!
This was served with the Japanese rice leftover from the last night dinner, pieces of avocado and mandarins from Aldy (some of them squeezed over the chicken) Mmmm, delicious! Truly recommend it!

After all this deliciousness Kalina did my nails beautifully!

Tired now and going to bed. Too much pampering today! ( o wow it's already 4 min. tomorrow)
